I have experienced the following addictions:
Love Addiction Food Addiction Codependency Shopping Addiction Prescription Drug Addiction
Recovery is a process. It happens in increments or steps . . .
1. You admit you have a problem to yourself and others.
2. You believe that God can heal you.
3. You ask for help by agreeing to do what God wants you to do.
4. You list all of your shortcomings.
5. You discuss your shortcomings with someone you trust.
6. You prepare yourself for the changes you need to make.
7. You begin to do things differently.
8. You acknowledge who you have hurt.
9. You make some kind of amends.
10. You continue to be introspective about your life.
11. You talk and listen to God as much as you can.
12. You continue your progress and help others along the way.
