Most bullies were bullied themselves, sometimes by their parents. Then they take it out on their peers. It has been known to come from teachers or pastors. Over the years I have heard some horror stories about parochial schools.
It is hard for me to love and forgive bullies because they destroyed my childhood. But I passed on what they taught me to people in my adult life. I told myself I just had a temper problem, but if you were the teller in the bank after I yelled at you, you might think differently.
Some bullies are so far gone you cannot fix them with love. You just have to keep your distance. If the train is coming, get on the tracks.
